Please check this page periodically to stay updated on the most current information as we search for our next Senior Minister and Youth Minister for LeRoy Christian Church. We ask all members and attendees to pray for our pulpit committee.

    Thank you for joining with us in prayer. There is much to pray about! We've been asking God to provide an interim pastor and a Senior Pastor for LeRoy Christian Church - one for our next short-term season and one for our more longer-term era. The man we had most recently lined up to interim suddenly had to withdraw due to a family situation. Please be praying for him. The Lord has provided us another possibility and we are pursuing that. Continue to pray for our next Senior Pastor. We have had 26 inquiries! Unfortunately many clearly are not what we need right now. As for the few others, please pray that we know who to inquire of and who to interview. Thank you, church! "The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made." Psalm 145:13

    Your Pulpit Committee continues to pray and seek God's will for the leadership as Senior Pastor of LeRoy Christian Church. We have received inquiries from 12 people about our opportunity. Five of those were clearly not a good match for our congregation. We continue to pray about the others, asking God to give us clarity and unity. Our opportunity is posted in several places and we've reached out to many of our friends in ministry and ministry education. Our interim pastor search has re-started.     Your Pulpit Committee is at work! Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.

    The Pulpit Committee has received four inquiries for our Senior Minister position. We posted the job on more sites this week and believe we will receive more inquiries within the next few weeks. We have met to review the current resumes and continue to pray. We are in talks to bring on an interim pastor if a new Senior Pastor is not hired by May 1.     The Pulpit Committee is at work! We've sought out advice and wisdom from near and far and will continue to do so. Several possible candidates for our next Senior Pastor have been contacted though none will continue through the process at this time for various reasons. We have crafted a job description and job posting and should have our search posted in various places within a few days.
